Job Opportunity: Experienced SFTP Automation and Rithmic Integration Developer

Overview:

Humble Funding LLC is looking for a skilled developer to troubleshoot and fix the existing SFTP automation system integrated with Stripe payment events. The current system, which populates SFTP text files from the database and communicates with our service partner, is not functioning as expected. This is an urgent project to address the automation issue and ensure seamless operation.

Key Responsibilities:

Debug and fix the existing SFTP automation setup, ensuring successful integration with Stripe payment events and the database.

Enhance the system to populate and send accurate SFTP text files to our service partner's endpoint.

Identify and resolve existing errors, ensuring stability and reliability.

Provide error handling for failed SFTP commands/requests by implementing a system to check error directories (e.g., Rithmic’s SFTP File Path).

Collaborate closely to ensure the system meets operational requirements.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

Proven experience with SFTP systems and integration.

Strong understanding of automation workflows and database integrations.

Experience working with Rithmic systems is a significant plus.

Familiarity with payment gateways, particularly Stripe.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Requirements:

Availability in U.S. Eastern Standard Time (EST): Regular communication is essential.

Must be responsive to questions and provide frequent updates on progress.

Willingness to research and resolve problems promptly.

Accountability for urgent issues, with the ability to address them as quickly as possible.

Fluent communication skills in English.

Additional Notes:

The previous developer only communicated once or twice daily without addressing critical concerns or providing updates. We are looking for someone committed to open communication and frequent check-ins.

This project is just the beginning. The successful candidate may be offered a full-time position for future development and maintenance projects.

2. Affiliate Portal Development Plan

Overview

The affiliate portal will function as a standalone system, separate from the main platform, featuring its own registration and login system. Affiliates can sign up to promote products (evaluation accounts and rebills) and earn a 25% recurring commission for every successful sale and rebill attributed to them. The portal will integrate with Rewardful, which is compatible with Stripe, to handle tracking and payouts.

Core Features

Registration and Login System:

A standalone registration and login system dedicated to affiliates.

Fields required during registration: Full Name, Email Address, Password, Tax Information (optional), and Bank Details for payouts.

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) for added security.

Integration with Rewardful:

Rewardful will be used to track affiliate links, cookies, and commissions.

Tracking Process:

A visitor clicks on an affiliate's unique link.

A cookie is placed on the visitor's browser (cookie lifespan to be set to ensure tracking persists).

If the visitor completes a purchase, the sale is credited to the affiliate’s account.

Separate Dashboard:

A modern, user-friendly design showcasing:

Account Balance: Real-time updates on total earnings and commissions owed.

Link Generator: Affiliates can generate unique links for promoting products (evaluation accounts). These links will:

Redirect users to the payment page (via Stripe).

Be embedded with tracking identifiers.

Payment History: A detailed history of all payouts and commissions earned.

Referral Statistics: Show data such as clicks, conversions, and earnings from referrals.

A system to display affiliate names and ID numbers for easy identification.

Payout System:

Monthly Payouts:

Commissions will be paid out monthly to affiliates with a balance of $80 or more.

Payment Methods:

For U.S.-based affiliates: Direct Deposit to their bank accounts.

For international affiliates: Alternative methods such as PayPal or Wise.

A payout threshold of $80:

Affiliates with balances below $80 will not be eligible for withdrawal.

Automation:

The system will automatically calculate payouts at the end of the month.

Ensure compliance with financial regulations for both domestic and international payouts.

Bank Details Input:

Affiliates can securely input and update their bank or payment details in the dashboard.

Tracking Mechanism Options:

Option 1: Cookie-Based Links (Recommended):

Each affiliate is assigned a unique link.

Cookies track visitors who click on the link and attribute sales to the affiliate.

Benefits: Simplified tracking, supports recurring commissions automatically through Rewardful.

Option 2: Stripe Payment Links:

Each affiliate is assigned a Stripe-generated payment link.

Payment success events are used to attribute sales to the affiliate.

Benefits: Offers direct Stripe integration but might be less scalable for affiliates compared to cookie-based tracking.

Recurring Commissions:

Affiliates will earn 25% recurring commissions for the lifetime of customers they refer.

Withdrawal Requests:

Only affiliates with balances above $80 can request payouts.

Affiliates below the threshold will have their commissions rolled over to the next month.

Admin Features:

A backend system for admins to:

View affiliate statistics and payout statuses.

Manually approve or reject withdrawals (if needed).

Add/remove affiliates.

Adjust commission rates for specific affiliates.

Proposed Process Flow

Affiliate Registration:

The affiliate signs up and receives a unique referral link upon approval.

Promoting Products:

The affiliate shares the link via email, social media, or a personal website.

Tracking and Attribution:

Visitors clicking the link have a cookie placed on their browser.

If a visitor completes a purchase, the affiliate’s account is credited.

Recurring Commissions:

Affiliates receive 25% of the initial sale and all subsequent rebills.

Monthly Payouts:

At the end of the month, commissions are calculated and paid out automatically.

Additional Recommendations

Referral Bonuses:

Introduce one-time bonuses for affiliates referring a high volume of sales.

For example, $50 bonus for every 10 new customers referred in a month.

Affiliate Tiers:

Add tiers (e.g., Bronze, Silver, Gold) based on the total lifetime earnings of affiliates.

Higher tiers could offer increased commission rates or additional perks.

Compliance and Security:

Ensure the system complies with GDPR and other privacy regulations, especially for cookie tracking.

Use encryption for storing sensitive affiliate data, such as bank details.

3. Maintenance

Overview

The Maintenance phase ensures smooth operation of the platform, timely resolution of critical issues, and continuous improvements to both the server and website infrastructure. It includes handling urgent matters, implementing small changes, and preparing for future enhancements such as the addition of new account types like Instant Funding accounts.

Key Responsibilities

Urgent Issue Resolution:

Monitor and resolve any server outages, performance issues, or backend errors that may disrupt user access or functionality.

Address website bugs or malfunctions promptly to minimize downtime and user frustration.

Text Changes and Frontend Updates:

Implement minor changes to website text or content as requested (e.g., FAQ updates, policy revisions, promotional updates).

Make small additions or adjustments to the frontend, such as new buttons, design tweaks, or layout improvements.

Addition of Instant Funding Accounts:

When Instant Funding accounts are introduced, integrate them into the existing purchase and automation workflow:

Utilize the SFTP templates you provide for these accounts to automate the account creation process.

Ensure these accounts have unique identifiers and align with the appropriate risk parameters.

Update the payment links and website interface to include Instant Funding account options.

Verify that these accounts are correctly displayed in the user dashboard and follow the same automation and notification workflow.

Logic Additions To Existing Automation Structure:

Research and add in logic to current automation workflow where users with no accounts can be detected and deactivated as well as stripped of Market Data Access to help cost saving measures.

Add in opposite logic as well, where if a user who has been disabled and stripped of Market Data Access purchases a new account, they must be re-enabled and given Market Data Access. This logic can be implemented with the modify_user sftp command and set_user_exchange_entitlement, respectively.

Error Handling for SFTP commands/requests which fail need to be implemented through the use of checking the error directory in Rithmics SFTP File Path!
