I am seeking an experienced tax accountant to prepare and file both my company's and my personal 2023 tax returns. The scope of work includes: HR Consulting Small Business S-Corp (Corporation) Tax Return (2023): Late filing for a small HR consulting firm (S-Corp). -Revenues: Approximately $350,000. -Expenses: Approximately $400,000. -Age: Founded June 11, 2018 -Incorporated: Florida; additional office in Virginia -Employees: 3 -Simple accounting structure with clear records available since the founding. We use Wave accounting and editor access can be provided. -Additional task(s): Potential restatement of wage and salary based taxes in accounting software. Potential R&D credits qualification for early exploration and development for software development. -Must ensure compliance with IRS and state requirements. Personal Tax Return (2023): -Includes standard income and any business-related filings relevant to the S-Corp. -Based in Florida. -Potential qualification for Foreign earned income exclusion. Requirements: -Proven experience with S-Corp tax filings and personal tax returns. -Familiarity with small business tax compliance. -Ability to handle late filings and manage potential penalties. -Must be responsive and capable of working within a tight deadline. -Budget: 3 figures, $000.00 -Deadline: ASAP Additional Information: I am based in Miami, FL but am currently in Asia with a 12-hour time difference. Clear communication is essential throughout the process. Our previous accountant was located in Michigan and has since retired.
