Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James passed Kareem Abdul-Jabbar for the No. 1 spot on the NBA's all-time regular-season scoring list (38,387 points) on Tuesday, February 7, 2023.

James previously broke the record for most total points — regular season and playoffs — in February 2022, and on Jan. 16, he became just the second player in NBA history to score 38,000 career points.
