Impact Grbic joined the club in January from Athletico Madrid and did not get off the best start. He started nine games during the second half and conceded multiple goals in all but one start. Despite his disappointing debut season, with Wes Foderingham leaving the club, Grbic has a chance to be the No. 1 next season in the Championship.

Anel Ahmedhodzic - Disappointing debut season in PL Ahmedhodzic scored two goals and recorded one clean sheet in 31 appearances (29 starts) this past season.

Impact Ahmedhodzic was a mainstay in Sheffield United's historically poor defense, a defense which allowed a Premier League record 104 goals. As a result, he kept just one clean sheet although he put up solid numbers, recording 64 tackles, 34 interceptions, 134 clearances and 26 blocked shots. The 25-year-old will now head back down to the Championship, a competition where he recorded eight goal contributions and kept 16 clean sheets during the 2022-2023 campaign.

Jayden Bogle - Scores three with Sheffield United Bogle scored three goals and kept one clean sheet in 34 appearances (32 starts) this past season. He added one assist in one FA Cup start.

Impact Bogle was a mainstay in Sheffield United's squad, splitting time between right-back in a back four and at right-wingback in a back five. He scored three goals on the season, all of which were against massive clubs -- Manchester City, Chelsea and Manchester United. Despite being a part of the worst defense in the history of the Premier League he put together decent numbers, recording 66 tackles, 32 interceptions, 86 clearances and 11 blocked shots. With one more year on his contract, he is set to play a similar role in the Championship next season.

Auston Trusty - Tough first PL campaign Trusty did not record any goal contributions and kept one clean sheet in 32 appearances (28 starts) this past season.

Impact Trusty was a major part of the Premier League's worst-ever defense, playing the majority of the season at center-back, with some time spent at left-back and left midfield. He only kept one clean sheet and contributed 47 tackles, 35 interceptions, 145 clearances and 22 blocked shots in over 2500 minutes of action. The 25-year-old is set to head down to the Championship next season, a competition where he kept 13 clean sheets in 44 appearances with Birmingham City during the 2022-2023 season.

Jack Robinson - Mainstay in historically poor defense Robinson scored one goal, recorded one assist and kept one clean sheet in 34 appearances (31 starts) this past season.

Impact Robinson was a crucial part of Sheffield United's defense this past season, a defense that conceded 104 goals, the most in Premier League history. He kept just one clean sheet on the season and recorded 43 tackles, 33 interceptions, 127 clearances and 33 blocked shots. With one season remaining on his contract, the 30-year-old will likely head back down to the Championship and fight for promotion.

Vinicius Souza - Mainstay in midfield Vinicius scored one goal and kept one clean sheet in 36 appearances (29 starts) this past season.

Impact Vinicius had a solid first season with Sheffield United, highlighted by his lone goal at Luton Town on Feb. 10. Despite his team's historically poor defense, he put up decent numbers, recording 125 tackles, 32 interceptions, 75 clearances and 17 blocked shots. Heading into next season, the 24-year-old is set to be a crucial part of the club's midfield with eyes set on promotion back into the Premier League.
