  • What Do I Do If My Toilet Overflows?

  • Is There Anything That Can’t Be Put In My Garbage Disposal?

    Of course. Keeping your garbage disposal is working correctly is important. In order to receive the optimal life of your garbage disposal, these things should not be put in your garbage disposal:

    • Potato skins
    • Bone fragments and eggshells
    • Banana peels
    • Fats / grease
    • Unpopped popcorn kernels
    • Onion skins
    • Fruit pits and seeds
    • Stringy vegetables like asparagus and celery
  • How Can I Check if I Have Leaking Pipes?

    If you think you have a leak but you’re not sure where it might be, there is a simple way you can check. Look at your water meter, monitor and right down the level. Make sure that no one is using the water in your home for 1-2 hours. Then go back and note the level. If your level is different, then you most certainly have a leak.   • How Can I Prevent Leaky Pipes in My House?

    In this situation, you can do several things. One of the first things you should do is check your water pressure. The ‘safe zone’ for your water pressure is 30-50 psi. If the water pressure is higher than 60 psi for any length of time, the pressure may become a problem.
