Nick Jonas is a solo musician, actor and member of the boy band, the Jonas Brothers. Jonas has released music on his own and with his band, that is made up of him and his two brothers Joe and Kevin. The singer is married to Priyanka Chopra, who he got married to in 2018.
Jonas was born on September, 16, 1992 to parents Denise and Paul in Dallas, Texas, but grew up in Wyckoff, New Jersey.
In 2005, Jonas became part of the band, the Jonas Brothers with his two brothers Joe and Kevin. They signed with Columbia and released their album “It’s About Time,” but were dropped from the label.
The band was then picked up by Disney’s Hollywood Records and they released their self-titled album in 2007 which included their hit songs “S.O.S” and “Year 3000.”
In 2008, they released “A Little Bit Longer” and then released “Lines, Vines and Trying Times” the following year.
In 2013, the band broke up and the brothers went on to pursue their own endeavors. While they were broken up, he released “Nick Jonas X2” album in 2015, including his song “Jealous.” He also released “Last Year was Complicated” in 2016 and “Spaceman” in 2021.
In 2019, the Jonas Brothers got back together and released their first song, “Sucker” and then did a reunion album, “Happiness Begins.”
Jonas has also done some acting over the years. In 2008, he was in the Disney movie, “Camp Rock,” a movie that starred his brothers and Demi Lovato. He was then in “Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam” in 2010.
After that, he was in “Careful What You Wish For,” “Goat,” “Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle” and "Jumanji: The Next Level." He was also in “Midway” in 2019 and “Chaos Walking” in 2021.
Jonas has also done some television work. He was in the TV show “Kingdom” and he was also a coach on the singing competition show, “The Voice” for seasons 18 and 20.
Jonas is married to Chopra, who he started dating in May 2018. They quickly got engaged in July and were married in December 2018. In January 2022, they welcomed their daughter via surrogate.
