USPS temporarily suspends services at several Georgia locations

The death toll in Georgia from Hurricane Helene has now climbed to 17 people.

All postal retail and delivery operations for dozens of USPS facilities across Georgia have been temporarily suspended until further notice due to Hurricane Helene's impact.

The USPS released an updated list on Monday afternoon.

Service for all zip codes beginning with "315" and "316" have temporarily been suspended except for the following:

  • Brunswick: 805 Gloucester St 31520  
  • Hoboken: 4850 W Main St 31542  
  • Kingsland: 310 S Grove Blvd 31548  
  • Nahunta: 10119 N Main St 31553
