Vice President Kamala Harris has received the endorsement of a local chapter of the Teamster's Union. The chapter has joined a growing list of local chapters who have made a presidential endorsement, after the national union decided to not endorse any presidential candidates.

Man arrested in connection with playground fire

Police say 18-year-old Jah'yeir Salaam is accused of setting fire at a playground in the area of 83rd Avenue and Olive. The fire is estimated to have caused around $105,000 in damages.

Phoenix weekend freeway closures (Oct. 4-7)

Westbound I-10 will be closed between the I-17 'Split' interchange near Sky Harbor to the 'Stack' interchange west of 19th Avenue for paving a signage work; eastbound I-10 will be closed between US-60 and Ray Road for the Broadway Curve Improvement Project; Westbound Loop 101 (Agua Fria) will be closed between 51st and 75th Avenues for work zone setup and pavement removal as part of a widening project; Southbound I-17 is narrowed to one lane between Carefree Highway and Dixileta Drive for pavement improvements; State Route 143 is closed between Loop 202 and the I-10 for a traffic shift, and Loop 202 (Santan Freeway) is narrowed to two lanes in both directions at Lindsey for a widening project.

Statue of a naked Donald Trump on display in Phoenix

A naked statue of former President Donald Trump is now on display in Phoenix. You can find it near 24th and Washington streets. It depicts the former president suspended in a "swing state." The statue is titled "Crooked and Obscene" and was recently displayed in Nevada.
