David Lund is a 20+ year veteran of Merrill Lynch and a founding partner of the Towner Lund Group. David focuses on developing creative strategies to address issues important to corporate executives, such as non-qualified deferred compensation plans, 10b5-1 plans, tax minimization strategies, and concentrated stock management. He also works closely with clients navigating life transitions, coordinating with clients' trusted legal, tax, and other advisors to craft a tailored approach to help achieve their unique goals.
David and his wife, Kim, live in Rockford with their four children, and their weekends and evenings are busy with swim and gymnastics. David is an active volunteer with his church and also supports a number of local charities. In his spare time, David enjoys a round of golf and a good glass of wine.
David earned his Bachelor of Religious Education from Great Lakes Christian College and also received a degree in Finance from the Eli Broad College of Business at Michigan State University. Most recently, David completed a MBA at the University of Michigan's Ross School of Business with distinction. David is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER? certificate, among other industry designations he holds. In 2018, he was named to the Forbes "Best-in-State Wealth Advisors" list.
