We know that a vacation isn\u2019t complete without the furry member of your family. We have a dog park with plenty of space to exercise your pets. Basic Rules<\/strong><\/h2>\n
\u2022 All Visitors must register with the office.<\/em>
\u2022 A parking pass is required to park your vehicle here unless you are a registered guest.
\u2022 Please, park in a designated parking area and display the parking pass in your windshield, otherwise your vehicle could be towed at your expense. Let\u2019s please avoid this activity!<\/p>\nResort Etiquette<\/strong><\/h2>\n
\u2022 Motorized bikes, scooters and golf carts must be operated by a legally licensed driver.
\u2022 Parking is at your own risk. The Resort is not responsible for any RV or vehicle damages.
\u2022 Quiet time is 10pm \u2013 8am.<\/strong>
\u2022 Please respect the property of neighbors \u2013 do not walk or drive through your neighbor\u2019s sites.
\u2022 Tents are not permitted, but pavilions (i.e., tents without floors) are acceptable.
\u2022 Management must pre-approve vehicle washing, RV washing, and repairs.
\u2022 Dumping of gray water in sites without sewer connections is not permitted.
\u2022 Keep your site clean. Discard cigarette butts and trash properly.
\u2022 Smoking is not permitted inside any building in the Resort.
\u2022 Ropes, wires, or any other type of material such as hammocks that hang from trees, clothes lines, or pet leashes are not allowed.
\u2022 Ground fires and large fires are not permitted inside the Resort.<\/strong> These are dangerous. We do have fire pits available to rent (subject to availability).<\/p>\nPets<\/strong><\/h2>\n
\u2022 If your pet is outside, you must be outside with it. Do not leave your pet unattended.<\/strong> There are many dogs and unfortunately, they do not all think the same or have the same temperament.
\u2022 Please do not erect any dog houses, kennels, fences, cages, etc.<\/strong>
\u2022 Your pet must be on a short leash and under your control at all times.
\u2022 Walk your pets in designated areas only and, please, your neighbor\u2019s site is not a designated area.
\u2022 You must pick-up after your pet no matter where it \u201cgoes,\u201d and dispose of the trash properly.<\/strong> This is a common-sense and hygienic requirement and shows consideration for your neighbors.
\u2022 The following breeds and any mixture of them are strictly not allowed: Rottweilers, Pit Bulls, Chows, and Doberman Pincers. Please respect this policy and help us avoid any situations.
\u2022 Any aggressive pet behavior, regardless of breed, may result in the animal being removed from the park.
\u2022 Pets are not allowed inside any resort building, rental property, or the pool unless approved by management.<\/p>\nPool Etiquette<\/strong><\/h2>\n
\u2022 Follow all posted pool rules.
\u2022 A lifeguard is NOT on duty in the pool area. Swimming is always at your own risk.
\u2022 Pool hours are from 8:00 am until 8:00 pm every day.
\u2022 Absolutely NO diving is permitted.
\u2022 Proper Swimming attire must be worn in the pool. Nudity is not permitted under any circumstances.
\u2022 No running in or around the pool area.
\u2022 Children who are not \u201cpotty trained\u201d must always wear swim diapers.
\u2022 Children under 13 years of age must be accompanied by an adult or they will be asked to leave.<\/strong>
\u2022 Everybody MUST use the on-site showers PRIOR to entering the pool.
\u2022 No glass objects of any type are allowed in the pool area.
\u2022 No grilling or cooking is allowed in the pool area.
\u2022 Music is allowed but must not be offensive (ie: profanity laced, etc…) and the volume must be kept down.
\u2022 ALL trash must be picked up and placed in the trash receptacle. Let\u2019s help keep the pool clean.
\u2022 No pets are allowed in the pool area.<\/p>\nPlayground\/Park Etiquette<\/strong><\/h2>\n
\u2022 Guests are responsible for the safety and conduct of their children.
\u2022 Play safe, weight limit is 40 lbs per child (on playground equipment).
\u2022 Children must be in the direct supervision of an adult.
\u2022 Use both hands when climbing and avoid climbing on wet equipment.<\/p>\nFishing\/Mill Pond Water Activities<\/strong><\/h2>\n
\u2022 Please Note:<\/strong> A valid Florida fishing license is required to fish on Merritt\u2019s Mill Pond. Please contact the Fish and Wildlife Commission for rates and further information.
\u2022 Fishing and swimming are NOT permitted within 100 feet of the boat ramp.<\/strong>
\u2022 All water rental equipment requires a Liability Waiver.<\/p>\n
