My Background:

Upon moving to California in the 1970s I was walking in the shadow of the Range of Light, in the footsteps of John Muir, Ansel Adams and Galen Rowell. I took up backpacking and 35mm photography in 1974.

My exploration of natural environments continues today as a freelance photographer who conducts photography workshops in some of America’s most exotic landscapes.
