Statistics and key figures
To increase transparency, FINMA publishes various figures and statistics on its activities. It also discloses selected key figures for the supervised institutions.
As part of its regular reporting and in addition to the annual financial statements, FINMA publishes various figures and statistics connected with its activities. Specifically, it provides data on its supervisory activity, developments in the market, enforcement, resolution and on the authority itself.
To improve transparency and comparability, FINMA also publishes various key figures for the supervised institutions. For instance, it publishes an annual list of key regulatory metrics for banks and account-holding securities firms as well the balance sheet and income statement data provided by the insurance companies.
The statistics and figures cover FINMA’s supervision of some 30,000 financial institutions and products.
