Greater insights into financial market supervision

FINMA reports inform the general public about specific aspects of FINMA’s supervisory activity or financial market issues.

FINMA publishes two types of report: reports on current issues and reports on its activities. Owing to statutory restrictions, FINMA is only permitted to provide information on proceedings taken against specific companies or individuals in exceptional cases. FINMA’s reports are thus generally anonymised to protect the personal rights of the individuals affected. They mainly contain aggregate figures in order to safeguard the supervised institutions’ professional secrecy.
