Dexter Collins

Mr. Dexter Collins is the Executive Officer at the Fogarty International Center (FIC). He is a key advisor to the FIC Director and Senior Staff. He leads and directs the financial, administrative, and international service operations for the Center. Previously, Mr. Collins was the Deputy Executive Officer, at the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD). 

Mr. Collins has served at NIH in progressive financial and administrative management leadership positions. He has served on and chaired various NIH committees. Mr. Collins holds an MPA from American University and a BSM with a minor in Accounting from the National-Louis University. He is a retired Commissioned Officer from the United States Armed Forces who received his Federal Recognition from the President of the United States in 1998.

Mr. Collins has been a committed member of the NIH workforce since 1989.
