The reason I say this is because, if you look a bit deeper into the mismanagement and how, big infrastructure jobs in the UK are ran, £100 million on a bat tunnel is penny's to what gets wasted through miss management, stupid contracts and people taking the absolute piss..  For instance, miss management, I work in the industry and I have hurd that at least 2-3 bridges on HS2 have been put in "backwards" so they then have to destroy these bridges and make new ones... (This also laps in with stupid contracts) Stupid contracts: so a colleague of mine would go to a site , he was a ecologist. Every time...
