The work of the ACS Office of Inclusive Excellence was formally launched in 2021, under the direction of then-ACS Board of Regents Chair L. Scott Levin, MD, FACS, and then-ACS Executive Director David Hoyt, MD, FACS. Using proven principles and practices, we are developing and implementing a sustainable strategy where staff and members produce meaningful and measurable results that contribute to better outcomes for all patients.
