International Payroll and GL Accountant (fixed term role)

THE CHALLENGE

We are seeking an experienced International Payroll and GL Accountant to join our team for a 6 month period. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing international payroll, general ledger accounting, and related analysis and reporting. This includes reviewing and approving payroll and GL entries, preparing forecasts and budgets, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

YOU WILL

  • Manage international payroll processing, including monthly journal entries, PTO accruals, and bank payments
  • Review and approve payroll calendars, FX rates, and Health Insurance accruals
  • Prepare annual budgets and forecast updates for FP&A
  • Reconcile payroll details with GL expenses for international and US
  • Manage CloudPay implementation and related tasks
  • Perform various GL and payroll-related tasks, including accruals, reconciliations, and journal entries
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including FP&A, benefits, and accounting

THE SKILL SET

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in international payroll and GL accounting
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards and regulatory requirements
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and Google Sheets
  • Experience with CloudPay or similar payroll systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Advanced English level
