Visit the EESC
The European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) is happy to welcome visitors from all over the world and explain its role, function and priorities.
Our visitors come from all 27 Member States, as well as from outside the EU. Many of them are members of civil society organisations or university students specialising in EU affairs.
Every visitor group is welcomed by a member of our team as well as by a speaker, who explains the EESC’s structure and activities, as well as its role in the EU decision-making process.
The information session includes a presentation and a Q&A session and usually lasts an hour.
We also organise online talks in the form of videoconferences; these enable participants to contact our Committee directly while connecting from anywhere in the world.
How to book a visit
Please complete the Visit request form for an onsite visit or an online talk. Requests should be submitted at least 4 weeks in advance.
We offer information sessions and presentations in all 24 official EU languages (Bulgarian, Czech, Croatian, Danish, Dutch, English, Estonian, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Hungarian, Irish, Italian, Latvian, Lithuanian, Maltese, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Slovak, Slovenian, Spanish and Swedish).
Groups wanting a presentation on a particular topic or field of interest are asked to specify this in their request. The request will be processed in order of priority and subject to availability.
The EESC welcomes visitor groups from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays (1 p.m. on Fridays). There are no visits on weekends or official holidays.
Please note that a group should have at least 15 participants and that participants should be at least 15 years old.
