​To improve the flow of information between the European Court of Auditors and the general public, and to facilitate the widespread reuse of information, the ECA adopted Decision 6-2019 on its open data policy and the reuse of documents.

Through the decision, the ECA commits to making appropriate documents in its possession available on the internet in open and machine-readable formats, wherever possible.

In line with this open data decision, the reports included in this section have been published together with the relevant datasets produced. Information on the data presented in the reports is also published, including, where possible, the corresponding data sources, methods and calculations.

Open data originating from the ECA are also available through the EU Open Data Portal at data.europa.eu, together with datasets from other EU institutions, bodies and agencies and from EU Member States.
