Bootstrap Theme revamped with Single Directory Components, Bootstrap 5, jQuery free.

The theme is ready for Drupal 11 and will work only for 10.3+ core versions.

Two subtheme options:

• Simple CSS subtheme
• SASS subtheme

This base theme bridges the gap between Drupal and the Bootstrap Framework.

Upgrade from Bootstrap 3

No formal upgrade path, 5.x version is a complete rewrite of the original 8.x-3.x theme.

Bootstrap 3 for Drupal 11

There is a Drupal 11 compatible release of bootstrap 8.x-3.x using a new jQuery 4 compatible bootstrap 3 cdn library. The upgrade path described in the release notes.

New actively supported library

There is a new library being used for bootstrap 3 since release 3.33. The Entreprise7pro bootstrap library has replaced the twbs bootstrap library going forward. It is currently actively supported and with community feedback and support it will continue to be modernized. The focus is on low impact improvements with minimal disruption.

Some of the important features from bs4 / bs5 may be backported in a future 3.5.x branch of the library.. 100% compatibility is expected for 3.4.x while modernization continues in 3.5.x. The goal is for zero impact solutions targetted to the 3.4.x branch and no to low impact solutions targeted for the 3.5.x branch.

8.x-3.x of this theme is continuing forward. Library version selection (of Entreprise7pro bootstrap) will continue to be provided as an option in the theme settings.
