Events

Volunteers in the Drupal Community run many types of events, all around the world.

• DrupalCamp: a short, volunteer-led event that focuses on Drupal in a specific geographic region or a specific topic.
• Meetup: an informal gathering of individuals interested in Drupal, aimed at building local knowledge and community.
• Drupal initiative meeting: a meeting of an organized strategic or community initiative group.
• DrupalCon: continent-wide events organized by professional event planners, in conjunction with the Drupal Association.
• DrupalFest: a set of events often clustered around major Drupal release.
• Training: an event where a group of people is trained on a specific topic by one or more expert trainers.
• Contribution: a focused event where attendees collaborate on some aspect of Drupal. Training and mentoring is often provided.

The Drupal Association provides an API that allows other websites to present Drupal Event data in new and interesting ways.
