The mission of DroneMasters is to accelerate the evolution of vertical mobility and inspire for the sustainable use of drones.
The DroneMasters Meetups facilitate the global dialogue among vertical mobility pioneers, experts, and enthusiasts across all industries and sectors.
The timeframe for each speaker is limited to 10 minutes to keep it entertaining. After the talks, all participants are encouraged to meet up and network on location or online. The event language is English.
Since 2015, the DroneMasters Meetups have connected more than 4,000 pioneers, experts, and enthusiasts from all industry sectors. They have participated online or on location in dozens of cities in Africa, Europe, and North America to share knowledge, current projects, trigger developments, and promote the sustainable use of airspace.
The DroneMasters Meetups were hosted by the African Drone Forum, Airbus, Allianz, Amazon, Daimler, ETH Zurich, the European Commission, the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology, HP, Microsoft, Porsche, and Volkswagen, as well as start-ups such as Nightingale Security or Wingtra. Cooperation partners included the London School of Economics, the World Air Sports Association FAI, the Association of the Automotive Industry, and the German Aerospace Industries Association.
