1A01 Contents of Chapter

This chapter outlines the procedures Investigators use to conduct a desk audit during a Supply and Service compliance evaluation, whether it is conducted in the office or on-site. The elements of this chapter also apply when Investigators are conducting compliance evaluations using the investigative procedures for the off-site review of records. Chapter 3 of this manual outlines the procedures for conducting construction compliance evaluations and documenting the evaluations in the Compliance Management System (CMS).
