Job Description: We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic US based individual to serve as a Remote IT Hardware Custodian. This role involves receiving up to 5 laptops from our clients, hosting them at your home, and performing various operational tasks as required. You will act as the on-site point of contact for these devices, ensuring they remain in optimal working condition for remote use. Key Responsibilities: - Device Management: • Receive and securely store up to 5 laptops at your home. • Turn laptops on/off as needed based on operational requirements. - Technical Support: • Carry out tasks that cannot be managed remotely, such as hardware repairs, operating system installations, and other essential maintenance. • Regularly check the status of each laptop to ensure they are functioning properly. - Daily Monitoring: • Conduct daily inspections to verify that all laptops are operational and report any issues immediately. Qualifications: - Must be located in United States. - Basic knowledge of computer hardware and software installation. - Previous experience in IT support or a similar role is an advantage. - Reliable, organized, and attentive to details. - Ability to maintain a secure and conducive environment to host client laptops. - Strong communication skills for reporting status and issues. Working Conditions: - This is a remote role based at your home. - Necessary hardware (laptops) will be provided by the clients. - Must have a safe and secure space to store and work on the laptops. Compensation: - $150 per laptop per month
