Job Description:
I am seeking a Full Stack Developer to build a scheduling feature called "Find my schedule" for our WordPress-based educational platform. This feature will allow students to input their course preferences and generate potential class schedules, with interactive tools to filter results based on various criteria.
Responsibilities:
Create a dynamic, interactive front-end that allows users to input preferences and view schedules.
implement a constraint-based scheduling algorithm that can accommodate various user preferences and logistical constraints. The algorithm should be capable of handling parameters such as preferred class times, specific days with no classes, and preferred instructors for certain courses. It should efficiently generate multiple potential schedules that optimize these preferences against the available course times and capacities. Additionally, the algorithm should support dynamic updates, allowing it to adjust schedules based on changing availability and user modifications.
Integrate the scheduling feature into the existing WordPress site using best practices.
Ensure the security of the application through robust code and data validation.
Work collaboratively to test, refine, and deploy the new feature.
Requirements:
Extensive experience with PHP and JavaScript, with a solid understanding of WordPress development.
Experience with front-end frameworks such as React or Vue.js.
