Copy row from Google sheet when changed to new google sheet

Hi, I need help with a short script that shall copy rows in a Google Spreadsheet ”A” as Soon as a row is changes or added, and then paste these to a new Google spreadsheet ”B”. Maybe this can be done in google app scripts? That would be best, but don’t know if the onEdit triggers work when data is entered by an external program like is the case here...? Otherwise it can be done in a php-script that is run repeatedly using cron. If it can be done in google apps script it would work like this: 1. When data is changed in any row of sheet A. 2. Copy all the contents of that row in sheet A and late as a new row in sheet B. If it is done in php I would like it to: 1. If this is the first time the script is run: 1. Read data from a Google Spreadsheet A 2. Save the data to a text file At. 2. If this is not the first time the script is run: 1. Read data in text file At 2. Read data on google spreadsheets A 3. Save the data to a text file At. 4. Compare At with A. 5. If any row is different in A than in At, copy that full row from A and paste as a new line in spreadsheet B. This is a short program and should take no more than one hour for an experienced programmer to complete.
