Hi, I ama software engineer with 20 years of experience in WPF and C#. Migrate WPF .NET framework to a .NET core version is not a bid deal. Maybe you are talking to migrate the backend of the application? I can do this work, as I am already migrating old apps to .Net core 8, mainly backend services. Anyway this is a manual porting, that starts creating a new project/solution from scratch and try porting one by one all the existing components. The ones that will not work anymore have to be changed with what is proposed by net core as substitute. It is a long job, but I need to see the source code, do some trial, to give an estimation. There is a Net Upgrade Assistant that can help with the porting, we can give it a try and see how it goes, probably it will be able to upgrade most of the libraries via Nuget. if you didn't use third party controls fro the WPF part, I think this will be much easier because the xaml part is the same. I have experience with large codebase and huge databases with more than 300 tables. I have also extended experience about POS applications.
