I think you should redeveloped the complete software, because it is too much outdated. It is good to re create something instead of patching it up continuously. Hello, I'm interested in your project. Judging from the uploaded snapshot, it's a 16-bit DOS application. It's still supposed to run on 32-bit newer Windows versions (at least in theory). You can also try and run it under DOS box or virtual machine- still without a mouse support. I'm afraid, that's all the options available without rewriting the program from scratch. we can develop this project using c# window application with SQL server. this is multi user environment and it is compatibility with all newer versions of windows. for this development we require .NET and SQL server license. Another method is MS Access VBA application. this is single user environment and it is compatibility with all newer versions of windows. for this development we require MS Office Access license.

Hello, It really looks that you have an "ancient" thing. You mentioned C++ and DOS as an expectations. I think the C++ is not needed, According the information you provided a .NET application would do for this project (VB.NET or C#) using an ORM tool with an SQL backend (which could be MySQL for example). But I need more information for a complete design of course. I'm in the software development business in 20+ years now. I had several database related projects behind me, few of them look similar to this.

I have experience with DOS programs, since 1992, I started working with computers with old 286 procesors (8086 also, but 286 was the newest processor in our school), I studied software development and I have been working sinse 1999, december until now always in software development areas.
