Freelance Revit Technician for Highland Distillery Project (Urgent)

Project Overview:

We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced freelance Revit Technician to join our team on an exciting project: the development of a new craft whisky distillery in the Scottish Highlands. You'll play a key role in bringing this vision to life by producing detailed production information drawings for planning submission.

The Role:

Develop comprehensive production information in Revit (2023, 2024, or 2025) for a two-phase distillery project.

Phase 1: Production hall and warehouse

Phase 2: Visitor centre (to be shown on a phasing plan)

Produce two sets of planning drawings: one for each phase of development.

Integrate existing concept designs, including landscape and transport plans, into the Revit model.

Develop accurate topo plans and incorporate levels into floor plans.

Create a reduced landscape plan (details to be discussed) and illustrate implications for Phase 1.

Deliverables:

Fully modelled Revit project: Accurate site information, detailed building models, and integrated landscape features.

Planning application drawings:

Site plan's (phase 1 and phase 2)

Elevations of all sides of the production hall and warehouse (for phase 1 and 2)

2x Site sections (for phase 1 and 2)

Floor plans for all buildings (for phase 1 and 2)

Phasing plan

Essential Skills:

Expert in Revit (2023/2024/2025): Extensive experience in 3D modelling, detailing, and generating production information for planning applications.

Knowledge of UK planning process: Familiarity with drawing standards and submission requirements.

Strong communication and collaboration: Daily communication is expected to ensure the project stays on track and to address design queries.

Meticulous attention to detail: Ability to produce accurate and high-quality drawings.

Flexibility: Willingness to incorporate feedback and make revisions as needed.

Time management: Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage workload effectively.

Timeline:

Deadline: Friday, 18th October 2024 (strict deadline)

Availability: Must have demonstrable availability between now and the deadline to dedicate to this project.
