The system will be based on our existing platform (Wix integrated with Airtable) and enhanced with Artificial Intelligence (AI) to optimize processes from order placement to final delivery. Project Objectives: You will be responsible for creating a system that: -Processes orders automatically after payment confirmation. -Recognizes and processes various file types (PDF, images, etc.), extracting text accurately using advanced OCR technology. -Counts pages precisely and calculates costs based on the service type. -Translates documents using AI while preserving the original formatting and maintaining text positioning. -Notifies translators for quality reviews and allows them to mark orders as complete. -Delivers finalized documents to clients seamlessly after approval by the translator. Critical Requirement: -he solution must prioritize maintaining Wix and Airtable as the primary platforms for the workflow to minimize operational impact. The developer may integrate additional tools, AI software, or connections as needed to achieve the desired functionality. -However, if a critical limitation in Wix or Airtable is identified that prevents the implementation of a key feature, the developer must propose alternative solutions. *These proposals should clearly outline the recommended adjustments, their implications for the current workflow, and how they would improve functionality. Our preference remains to work within the existing platforms, but we are open to well-justified alternatives. Your Role: As the selected developer, you will: 1. Analyze our current workflow and identify optimization opportunities. 2. Develop and implement the automated workflow, integrating AI for text processing and translation. 3. Ensure seamless integration between Wix, Airtable, and any necessary AI tools or connections. 4. Identify and communicate any limitations in the current systems, proposing alternative solutions if needed. 5. Test the system thoroughly to confirm that all objectives are met. 6. Provide documentation and basic training for our team to manage and update the system. (Proposed) Workflow to Build: 1. A client uploads a document and places an order on our Wix platform. 2. The system identifies the file type. If the file is not in PDF or Word format (e.g., images or other file types), the system utilizes OCR (Optical Character Recognition) software, such as ABBYY FineReader, Adobe OCR, or other advanced tools, to extract text with high accuracy. *The software must be capable of processing various file types and preserving as much formatting as possible during text extraction. *In cases where the file is not fully readable or extractable, the system should flag the document and notify the client to provide a clearer version or to proceed with manual transcription. 3. The system counts the pages accurately (based on the client’s input) and calculates the total cost per page. 4. Afer payment, the system processes the file using AI (e.g., ChatGPT or another professional-grade translation software) to generate the most accurate translation. The translation software must be clearly trained to deliver professional, precise, and contextually accurate translations. The translated document must: *Maintain the format and text positioning of the original document. For example, if the original text is in two columns, the translated text must also appear in two columns. Include additional formatting such as: The company logo. A translator’s statement and seal. The translation and original document in the same PDF. If the original document has 3 pages, the final PDF will have 6 pages: the first 3 pages for the translation and the next 3 for the original. 5. The translated file is saved in Airtable and sent to a translator for quality review. 6. The translator reviews, ensures quality, and marks the order as complete. 7. The system sends the final document (as described in step 4) to the client and notifies the operations team. Requirements: Proven experience in developing automated workflows with AI integration. Expertise in Wix and Airtable development. Skills in handling and processing various file formats while preserving integrity, layout, and text positioning. Ability to integrate advanced text extraction tools (e.g., ABBYY FineReader, Adobe OCR). Ability to train translation software to provide professional and precise outputs. Excellent communication skills to provide progress updates and documentation. Willingness to identify and propose alternative solutions if limitations in Wix or Airtable arise. Deliverables: A fully operational, automated system meeting all objectives. Documentation for future updates and maintenance. Basic training for our team to use the new system. The system should send email notifications to clients at each step of the process. A human reviewer will conduct quality reviews, ensuring translations meet professional standards. The system will utilize Adobe OCR for text extraction. The translation tool should support custom glossaries to ensure consistent use of terminology across projects.
