Luz had had quite the challenging day. After accidentally making Amity lose her job at the library, she had gone through several grueling trials to convince the head librariarn to rehire her. It was extremely difficult, but worth it. But it got even better when, out of nowhere, Amity had kissed Luz on the cheek before retreating back into her house.
All the way back home, Luz hadn't been able to get that kiss out of her mind or the smile off of her face. A smile that did not go unnoticed by King as she made her way into their shared bedroom. "Dang, Luz. You're in an awfully good mood," the young demon noted. "Did you find what you were looking for at the library?"
Luz set the echo mouse down and went to stare dreamily out the window at the clear nighttime sky. "Yep... but I also found way more than that," she answered.
"What do you mean?" asked King.
Luz: So many times out there,
I've watched a happy pair

They had a kind of glow around them.

The air was currently very heavy at I.M.P. headquarters as the events of the trial from the previous day had taken their toll on the spirits of everyone on the team, especially their youngest member, the cursed human boy Lincoln Loud. Lincoln had seen many horrific and traumatizing things since arriving in Hell and joining the assassination company, but being forced to face the judgement of the devil himself and watching one of his friends nearly be publically executed had to be the worst yet. On top of that, he'd been so sure that he was about to lose his beloved magic mentor and rendered powerless to stop it. Thankfully, the prince had been spared that particular fate, but the memories of that fear still weighed heavily on the young preteen's mind.
Still, even after such a frightening ordeal, the team of demon assassins made an effort to resume business as usual in the office. Loona sat at the front desk awaiting phone calls, Blitz sat in his office fiddling with paperclips and such
The sun shone down and the orange leaves fell through the air as the muscular redhead Wendy Pines led her daughter Ashley and her friend Dustin into the woods. Once they were at a nice clear spot, she turned to them and spoke. "Okay, Ashley. Are you ready to tap into your inner power?" she asked.
"I sure am, Mom. Let's do this," Ashley answered enthusiastically.
They had come out here so that Ashley could learn how to channel the ancient magic within her to grow into a super strong giant just like her mother. Dustin had come along for moral support and so he could witness Ashley's first powerup for himself. He took a seat on a nearby stump and watched as the training began.
"Okay. The first time I powered up was kind of an accident," said Wendy. "See, your dad and I were on our honeymoon and we were having a bonfire picnic on the beach. He started talking about a bunch of paranormal science stuff that he'd learned in college and I was kinda having a hard time keeping up with it. It

One fine day in Gravity Falls, Oregon, the Amazon lumberjack Wendy Pines and her daughter Ashley were engaging in a little mother-daughter fun in the woods. They were having their own Lumberjack Olympics where they competed in a number of woodland contests. The first was tree-climbing, which Ashley managed to win by climbing all the way to the top of a tree before her mom could. Next, they competed in tree-swinging, which meant seeing who was better at swinging from one branch to another. Once again, Ashley beat her mom as Wendy's large and muscular physique soon proved to be too heavy for one particular branch, causing it to snap and send her plummeting to the ground, where she landed with a loud thud.
Ashley quickly climbed down to check on her, using her much smaller and nimbler form to her advantage. "Are you okay, Mom?" she asked.
"Yeah, don't worry, hon. I'm alright," Wendy answered as she stood back. "Guess that old branch just couldn't hold the extra tonage. But you were
