When secrets are all you have (or think you have), you’ll put up with a lot to keep them.

Gaster is bluffing about euthanizing him - he’s actually worked very hard and wants very much to keep Sans alive, not that Sans knows that, but he’s irritated that Sans is being stubborn (where could he have got that from!) and difficult for no reason, as far as he’s concerned. He already knows Sans can see, what's the point of him trying to hide it? All just a waste of time! Like he said, he’ll find a way to get the information regardless, it’ll just take longer.
He's also still disturbed about how he was even able to heal Sans before - what better way to get rid of unnecessary feelings than by being as much of a jerk as possible? Might want to hide the first aid kit before you tell someone you don't care if they die or not, pal.
(Gaster all “i’m concerned about you developing emotional problems *IMMEDIATELY CAUSES EMOTIONAL PROBLEMS*”)

One neat thing is that with this installment, the very second handplates comic I ever did has now been brought into the main timeline! I’m sure it’s not a big deal to most but I think that’s pretty cool, haha. Who knew it’d ever come this far?
