A million years ago renegadeforlemonade on Tumblr (or someone who used to go by that anyway) suggested that the reason Papyrus makes the bars on his gate so wide is because he remembers being in his cell and wants people to be able to get out and i FINALLY GET TO PUT IT IN A COMIC, YES

Papyrus's gate is totally ridiculous when I actually looked at it, like two of the posts are barely on anything. He's lucky it doesn't just fall over in a stiff breeze.
