Ahhhh I'm still horrible at keeping this thing updated! Somehow I forgot I had a deviantArt x_x thanks, tumblr! Con season was a blast this year. My work's been going great too, so I've been really busy working hard on my artistry and knowledge. We also had a few great shoots in July (League of Legends, Splash Free!, and Sengoku Basara) so photos from the shoots and cons will be coming soon. I didn't realize I hadn't updated my journal since Sakuracon last year. Oops. 2013 was a long year of character development for me…lots of good times…lots of less good times…lots of failed attempts at costuming and a lot of victories. 2014 is off to a great start, however. As many of you have probably read on other DCS blogs, 2014 is the year of the Basara! We're all currently working on our Sengoku Basara costumes, which we will debut at Sakuracon in April! Part of DCS and I got back from Sakuracon on Monday. All I can say is BEST CON EVER. It was such an amazing experience, and I was so thankful to experience it with all the people that I did! What made it even better was getting nearly everyone we knew from the province all convening on the same floor of the Sheraton hotel, so we were always in close contact with everyone for the entire con.I've never seen so many cosplayers in one place!
