Riposa in pace, nonno.
Okay, so, I just want to update you all on a few things. The first of which is, since I got my new job I haven't had a lot of time to do things. My weekends tend to be full and the last thing I feel like doing when I get home from work at just after 7 at night is art. I don't know why, but that muse has apparently died on me and hasn't been seen for a while.
That isn't to say I won't do art; I've had a commission request that'll be a few pictures, which I'm more than happy to do so don't you say anything! You know who you are. I just don't do art for my own pleasure right now because it's not what I want to be doing. Personally I'm really bummed by this, and if anyone can give me any tips on getting myself back into the game they'd be much appreciated!
On the flipside my writing hasn't suffered, so I can do writing things! Yes, okay, New Recruit. I knowwwwwww.
Anyway, I also recently (read: February) decided on who I'm going to cosplay this year at Auto Assembly; the new femmebot Windblade! Go look her up if you don't know who she is. She'll be the first TF series ever to have been both written and drawn by women, and I'm so pumped to read it! I'd say sorry to certain other writers, but I'd be lying :3
I just
love her design so much though! She's really awesome, looks badass and sexy, and from what I hear she's got quite the story to tell!
And hey, who knows; I may just be the first person to cosplay Windblade.
Regardless, I just wanted to give you all that update and appeal for any rut-ending advice. No, I haven't died, I promise!
