DK: The Pirate and Mermaid Doodles

And I also drew these for mermay, I just wanted an excuse to draw these two together again ~

I kind had this scenario in my head maybe somehow this was how they met, maybe around in DKC2. Of course, he always ignored her since I do think K Rool would never trust mermaids since they're known to seduce men and drown them. Though she ended up saving his ass towards the end of the game where he was trying to swim away from sharks. She had brought him up to safety but they don't meet up until later again. Or idk, I'm still trying to think how they met, that's one possible idea.
