Description
Infographic illustration that I made for my current company where I work (tretton37) as a response to the otherwise PowerPoint-y version of a strategy map.
The motivator for me to draw this was from the agitating experience of watching the powerpoint presentation. So I wrote down the important text and started sketching for several motifs, and came up with a tree which after some thought became a bonsai. The idea to draw a bonsai comes hand-in-hand with the company's otherwise japanese inspired motifs. It also was drawn so that it provides narratives for anyone presenting it, such as core our values coming from the roots of the tree and the organic nature of the tree being our penchant for somewhat zen-like concepts like lean and agile development. The swords are inspired from the intro of Samurai Champloo anime, providing yet another narrative of the people working at the company.
This version is wthout the text and branding and fits in a Retina MBP screen.
