A hot air balloon slowly rose from the Forest of Time Chasm. The night was heavy with darkness, so the light of the hot air balloon’s fire was the only thing that lit the surrounding area. Within the base sat Tyllo, Tori, Jacq, Pitz, and Lemi, as well as the unseen Ponti, Leema, and Styg, invisible to all but two of them, as Tyllo guided the balloon out of the chasm and onto the ground beside the worn dirt path that intersected around the open chasm. When the fire was put out, Tyllo hauled two hefty bags out with him as he stepped out first, dropping them and allowing the contents of the bags to spill out onto the ground, revealing to no one that they were filled with chunks of Zonaite. Tyllo wiped his brow with a sigh as he was followed by his crewmates. “Good haul, everyone!” said Tyllo, proud of his team. Hello! My name is Matthew. I'm a man from the United States with a huge love for video games and cartoons. Grew up with them all my life. You'll find that especially here in my gallery. I don't regard myself as much of an artist, but I try to dabble. I enjoy writing to an extent, but I've rarely been able to stay truly dedicated to a long running story enough. Most of the time I fall out of a project due to my ADHD dragging my attention elsewhere. I'm currently working on a story called LST Gaiden, a sequel series to my completed Lucas Star Team series.

An In-depth Look at Pokemon BDSP

Whoop, haven't done this in a year. Though in all fairness, there hasn't been any other game I've played since the last In-depth Look that's had me feeling so "passionately conflicted" the way this game did. I'll preface this by saying, like Sword and Shield, I went into this game with a negative attitude. I wasn't even planning on getting it at all, but I was surprised with it for Christmas, so I begrudgingly played it anyways. I resonated strongly with the avocado gift Vine when I got the game. My first impressions on seeing the first trailer of the game were not great, and as much as I tried to keep an open mind on it, the more I learned, the more disappointed I became. So ultimately, my opinion is fundamentally biased, but I'll try to keep as open a mind on it as possible. And, I mean, I'm sure this won't be any different from what you've already heard before. A lot of people have already given their own two cents on this game and it's going to fundamentally be the same here. One

Two cents on hating games

Something I've seen a lot of lately is people moving goal posts for when you're allowed to not like aspects of a video game. "How can you say you don't like it when this is only the first trailer?" "How can you say you don't like it if it's not even out yet?" "How can you say you don't like it if you haven't played it yet?" "If you don't like it, why're you playing it?" My opinion is that any reason, barring anything affecting real life, is a valid reason to hate a video game. You don't like the graphics? That's a valid reason! You don't like the gameplay? That's a valid reason! You don't like the story? That's a valid reason! You don't like the characters? That's a valid reason! Any reason is a valid reason! It's all valid Why concern yourself with how much a person does or doesn't like something? If you enjoy it, then just let yourself enjoy it and let other people not enjoy it. I understand the temptation to go to arms about defending something you love, but you can enjoy it

An In-depth Look at Age of Calamity

I guess I'm just gonna make this a whole thing? Or at least a thing for games I'm this passionately conflicted of my feelings on. Though at least Sword and Shield was a much more forward "I hate this but I wanna like it and here's why," as opposed to this being "I really enjoyed this game and I wanna say I overall enjoyed it, but there's a very glaring part of it that I hate which causes me to be super on the fence about it in the first place."
