Hi all. I'm going to delete my deviantART soon.
Idk who is still here, but it's going to take me some time to do archival work before shutting this thing down. If you're looking to still find me somewhere, i'm on instagram and bluesky, also under willowescapee.
between the weird acceptance dA has had for genAI, my personal desire to just be less online, and a whole slew of other stuff, i think it's time to say goodbye to deviantART. Being here was really, legitimately, life changing, and it really pushed me to explore my artistic boundaries and grow as an artist. But my tastes and my identity and my desires have changed a lot since...yikes 2008, and I don't see my future here. I didn't even enjoy logging in and seeing all the weird changes to notifications and whatever.
so if you want to still hang, and make art, and look at my art, and I also look at yours, there are other platforms. But this one isn't doing it for me anymore. And that's alright. Things change.
