Well, here I am in Washington, DC for the summer.  I've been here since May 24th.  I leave on August 5th.  It's been a really exciting time.  I hope that when I get home, or when I'm back at school a week later, that I can get some photos on here.  I'm borrowing a friend's laptop for the summer, so I don't have my Photoshop or anything that I normally have.  I have gone through almost 3 rolls of film since the 4th, so that's been fun.  I almost went through 2 just last Sunday.  It was an amazingly beautiful day.  And now it's just ridicuously hot.  Adios.

Well, today's Sunday is a lot nicer (weather-wise) than last week.  No rain for 3 hours straight this week!  :dance:  Yesterday I went over to Clear Lake, which isn't actually clear :disbelief:, and went to get some :coffeecup: with my parents and go to a car show.  It was a good thing that I brought my :camera: because there were some really nice cars!  I got a polarizing filter the other day, so it was a good day to test it out.  I think some of my pictures came out well.  And I hope to post some of those on here.Anyway, we'll see what I have to do today...if I have to work around the house or whatnot. :confused:  

Well, got up this morning and saw a beautiful sunrise - and went back to sleep.  Got up a few minutes later - went back to sleep.  Got up a third time (as far as I remember) and said "forget it, I'm going out there!"  I basically ran down the street to a somewhat open field and tried to take some pictures.  I did get a few good ones, but I haven't found any good open fields that are nearby.  There is a lake about 25min away, but I would have to leave at least 1 hr before sunrise to get on the west side of the lake.Anyway, a huge front was moving through this morning, and as soon as I got back it rained for the next three hours!  It jsut st...
