#60 - Rejection
After Larfleeze is freed from the ring with the aid of Kyle Raynor, Ophidian begins to question the avarice withstanding in her avatar, and challenges her hold on the ring. In one scenario, Ophidian actually leads Charity out into the depths of space, then all at once abandons the greed light from her, letting the cold vaccuum do its work on her unprotected human vessel. Though CHarity has endured a lot of torture throughout her tale and through this challenge, this is the only time she actually meets death, and may very well be her end. No one on Earth would look for her if she were to go missing, and if any of the Lantern Corps or the misfits of Okaara decided to go looking for her, even if they managed to find her, it would be far too late, and the ring will have found its way onto a new, more dangerous hand...
