* Rather then a mere physical attack, it is also a conceptual attack on destiny itself
* Always targets the heart and tears them apart with a thousand iron thorns
* Can move at seemingly impossible angles to seek out and pierce the heart
* Reverses the nature of cause and effect in order to achieve this
    --> Makes it so that the cause "the lance being thrust" comes from the effect of "the opponent's heart being pierced"
* In the case it doesn't kill, the lance curses the target with an unrecoverable wound as long as Gáe Bolg exists in the world
