This month we spotlight the universe of @AyyaSAP

• How did you discover Deviantart?

It was about 8 years ago when I only started falling into digital art. On internet spaces, I found a lot of amazing works that inspired me. Almost all of them had accounts on Deviant Art. That's how I figured out about a perfect place for my portfolio.

• When have you begun to create wallpapers and why?

I most often used illustrations by other artists to decorate the screen of some devices. A couple of years ago I thought that I also could have created something like this, and people would have wanted to use it as wallpapers and it would bring them some joy. 

• Who are you? Could you describe your personality in a few keywords, please?

I'm hard-working, self-critical, positive, like to joke.

• Could you describe your artistic universe?

My universe is full of beautiful and strong women with a gentle and kind heart.

• Which software(s) do you use?

I'm using Adobe Photoshop on Wacom Cintiq Pro 24.

• What is your major evolution from your beginnings to now?

I think I began to draw people well. Considering that I've been drawing since my childhood and then I drew little men from circles and sticks.    

• What is your favorite topic?

I adore pinup, fantasy, anime theme for illustrations, love fan arts, cause there are so many wonderful universes and characters which you can draw!

• What is your favorite palette of colors to work with? 

It's the whole range of cold colors and shades. Blue, purple, pink are my favorites. It was difficult to work with warmer colors, but to create fine pictures you need all the colors, it's very important.

• What or who inspires you? 

My main inspiration is nature, walking in gardens, flowers, and rain aromas. In these moments I feel like I want to create infinitely. Cool guys art inspires me not less. One of my favorite artists is Sakimichan, Artgerm, Loish, DADACHYO, Syd Mills, there are more names in fact...but it would be a long list, haha! Those guys inspire me to be better every single day.

• What do you like to share with your creations?

Good mood, that's what I want my viewer to feel. But there are works which show my experiences, sadness...those emotions which we sometimes face and it's reflected in the work of any artist.

• Do you have rituals, any favorite things for creating better? Which music do you listen to when you are working for example? 

It all depends on the mood on each particular day when I work. There are days when you just sit and create art in a few hours, very high productivity, and a lot of finished business. And there are days when, without additional funds, it is impossible even to make a couple of strokes ... on such days I especially need inspiration from different sources and you are back to normal again. Music is also a huge source of inspiration for me. I always listen to music when I draw, a variety of genres - hip-hop, electronic music, jazz, pop, and much more.

• What are your passions?

I am a little into photography, love flowers, grow house plants, nature, sea, and oceans. I like visiting various interesting places where I haven't been to, trying dishes from around the world.

• What is your creative process in a few steps?

Inspiration - idea - realization.

• Have you got some tips for beginners?

The most important thing is to believe in yourself, love yourself, and your creativity, but do not forget to be self-critical and look for your mistakes, this will help you to progress faster. Practice as much as possible, don't be afraid to experiment and look up your style.
