Hi! This painting was done as a gift for someone else, so I generally wouldn't want it being used without their permission, what do you want to use it for?
No problem! Making sketches look clean is always a struggle, these sketches were all done with micron pens so they don't tend to get hand smudges and stay cleaner inside the sketchbook over time. I also find sketching in a sketchbook that has rings or just loose pieces of paper scan flatter with less shadows or dark spots than a bound "book" sketchbook. Another way to try to keep your lines looking good in Photoshop while adjusting everything is to duplicate your sketch layer and put the duplicate layer on multiply. That keeps your sketch intact and makes the lines darker without changing their consistency or feel like just messing with the levels setting can. Cleaning it up after darkening them up is usually easier. If the piece is just really dirty and will not cooperating no matter what I do - sometimes I'll select around the edge of the sketch, move it onto a clean white background and paint out most of the visible muddy spots, sometimes there's just no way to get around doing touch-ups like that. Hope some of that helps!
Thank you! Yes I've just been swamped with school and what-not, it happens. I really appreciate it, your recent stuff where you've been playing with lighting has been awesome by the way!
