Alright…

Today I share with you a „big one“ for me. One of the most significant paintings I’ve created so far. It speaks to me on a deeper level.

Many years ago I did a commission for my friend who is a therapist - a painting for her therapeutic office. The theme was transformation and it was supposed to show a woman face merged with butterfly and a glow in a third eye area. Back then I was very satisfied with the result and it had quite strong and unique „aura“.

I remembered that painting last year and I felt the urge to create a new version. A version that will be based on my „current self“, which will be more minimalist and in more earthy color tones.

And it turned out just the way I wanted (that almost never happens 😅).

So here it is.

The „Transformation“. 🦋

For me it embodies the fact that there is no solid or static „I“. All there is is a constant movement, a constant transformation.
