I hope this won't become a regular thing. I think its really unfitting to use a 'tool' that has been built off of stealing and exploiting the works of artists like yourself. Its like buying something off of someone who broke into your house to steal it in the first place.

A week or so ago, a whole lot of things such as Discord messages and many documents belonging to the Midjourney (An AI generation software, probably heard of or used it some time) higher ups were leaked. It showed that they had stolen the works of hundreds upon hundreds of artists and plugged them in their datasets without permission and were specifically trying to steal their styles for their generator. The documents had several lists with names of the artist, they were all dehumanized to 'styles' instead of names.

The most damning of all this was in the discord messages, the Midjourney higher ups talked with each other and decided that no one would know what they stolen from other artists if they simply destroyed all the documents and evidence. Thankfully, that didn't happen.

Several names on that list are planning lawsuits already and I know that you probably didn't use Midjourney for this however, the other generators follow the same plan and process of theft and exploitation whether it be Stable Diffusion, Dall-E or Adobe. (Which has had the same revelations as Midjourney now).

The generators aren't as good as their prompt, they are good as the artists who have stolen from and exploited.
