Description
I did this pic for LGBT Pride Month to show my respect for all couples anywhere. So in case you don't like this turn back now, I don't want any trouble.
This is a picture about my demon sorcerer Verial with his boyfriend, the Nepdeonilim Purge. He's a odd hybrid of a nephilim, a angel human cross and a demon. The couple are both considered oddballs in most circles, but they don't seem to mind. That said they can't often be to close to each other, at least early in their relationship. Verial is a mutt in the demon world, his whole family are mixes of different types of demons. He happens to take after one side he detests, he's an incubus. That means he can suck the lifeforce out of anyone he's physically close to. Normally, that would only happen if he...slept with someone >.> But its a bit worse then that. He hates this side of his being, for a long time he denied himself the chance to get close to someone because he couldn't bare to hurt the guy, then he fell in love with Purge. By this time because he's been denying his incubus side he is actually staving for energy, he ignores it most the time, its more of a discomfort. He can sleep it off mostly, part of the reason this guy sleeps so much, but when he's near Purge he finds it harder, and even a touch like this, just holding hands can be dangerous, he could accidentally suck all the energy from the man. Sometimes though, through his magic he can make it safe for the two to be together, and is working on ways to suppress this dangerous side of his forever.
For the time though he's enjoying all the time he can get with Purge, and Purge seems to be loving it just as much as he is
Anyway started this picture at the start of the month, found it harder then usual since I haven't drawn Purge much.
Also I'm still alive! Almost done with our big project in class so should have more time to be on, been needing a little break from DA on and off lately, depressions been pretty bad. Probably going to vanish again for a little while so sorry if I'm quiet, I'll try and get back soon.
I hope you like this, i find these two just so sweet together ;w; Ciao!

I love the idea and meaning behind this image, and completely agree with you as a member of the LGBTQ+ community!
The art itself could use some improvement as well as better consistency with the style (mainly their noses). The colours and composition are decent in my opinion, although the green, orange, and purple are a little bright. The skin tones could be a bit more accurate, although the only real way to make it look real is by shading a lot!
Your anatomy needs some practice, especially your facial anatomy. I understand that it is inspired by anime styles, but I've learned myself that it is much easier to make stylised art look 'accurate' as far as proportions go once you've practised drawing real faces, and studying their proportions and anatomy. The characters' hair also seems very fluffy (either that or it's hiding their monstrous sized skulls!) Once again, I suggest sketching realistic heads and faces, especially ones without hair so you can become familiar with the shape of the scalp.
Once you've gotten good at that, just remember that hair is not a giant mass sitting on the head of its character - it has strands and curls and lots of variations in size and shape depending on the character. I like to think of the hair as a living, flowing thing and remind myself that it is attached to the scalp, not sitting on top of it (unless it's a wig!)
Other than that, your lines could be a bit more stable, and possibly drawn with a brush that varies in width depending on how hard you press your tablet pen, so that the lines come to life. You could also use some improvement with your shading (Do some research on contrast! That's my biggest piece of advice for shading/colouring that I could give to anyone, since I still have trouble with it myself.)
If I had to give you one piece of advice over anything else, it would be this: Remember that drawings are two-dimensional, but should appear as though it contains three-dimensional objects and characters that look as though they are alive and could somehow even exist in the real world. Convince people with realism and trick their eyes into thinking your art is real and living!
