Automata Lullaby

"I welcome you to the Holy Sanctuary of Slumber. I am the Holy Automata, Adelheit." The Autonomic Nerve Unit introduced herself. Her compatriots, Reflecta and Radiata, were on either side of her, and Vatista was close behind. She continued her conversation by asking "so who do we have here?"

The blonde girl responded to them by saying "My name's Umaru-chan!" Her pristine appearance was slightly captivating Adelheit. She was wearing her gaming outfit, and her long, flowing hair blew gently in the wind. But, she was showing bags under her eyes.

Vatista was immediately showing sympathy for the young girl. "Are you ok Umaru-chan?" She asked curiously. "You look awfully tired."

Umaru-chan tried to deny she was tired, but was betrayed by a yawn escaping her mouth. "I guess so..." she said reluctantly.

The friendship group of Autonomic Nerve Units spoke amongst themselves for a second. "How can we help this sleepy girl?" Reflecta asked. "I know!" Responded Adelheit. "We'll sleep to help her drift off!" The four automata agreed to the plan.

Umaru-chan yawned again, only to be caught off guard by a sequence of rumbling sounds.

Grrruhh... Srrrrhhh...

Zzzaarrr... Zzzaarrr...

Hhrrruuhh... Grraaak!

Brraahhhk! Grruuaah!

"Are the automata snoring?" Umaru-chan asked out of shock. "Automata aren't meant to snore!" She looked down, and got an unexpected confirmation.

The Autonomic Nerve Units were equipped with everything they needed to snore. The snores sounded slightly metallic, and had a low pitch. There was even a steady drooling from their open mouths! The snores were getting progressively louder and heavier. Umaru-chan was momentarily stunned.

Umaru's shock gave way very quickly, the snoring relaxing her mind. She quickly drifted off, dreaming about gaming as her own snores rang out and she let out her own drool.
