The last watercolor piece of Gin... Maybe work on Takasugi next ^^ Anyway... the title of this piece actually has a bit of meaning to me~ I used to listen to this song from the OST countless amounts of times, and I loved how well the title fit with the feeling of the music. I was actually listening to "Take care buddy" for the majority of this drawing. Now with this piece, I kinda feel like he's saying goodbye, hence why I chose the title from the OST as the title and the quote above ^^. The background is actually Kabukicho, Edo from a scene (I can't remember which one but meh ><), so I decided to try and draw that to give off a bit of nostalgia (for the Gintama fans anyway ^^). I wasn't originally gonna add the Blur to the background, but I felt like with all the colors, Gintoki got kinda lost in all of it, so I had to separate the two somehow - not to a point where you couldn't see the background at all but just enough to make it subtle and give Gin the spotlight he needs ^^. I'm gonna miss the show - Contemplating whether or not to read the manga but I'll figure that out later ^^
Anyway, Exams are coming up soon so my schedule is gonna be a bit busier than usual, but I'll try and submit more art whenever I can ^^
"Anime - it's not something that can be thought of in a hall for conferences. It is made out of strange juices current from the brain of animators." - Sakata Gintoki - figured I'd go a bit out there with that quote ^^
