It's been an awkward few months.  A very bad and hurtful thing happened that I couldn't do anything about.  Another situation had become desperate, but there WAS something I could do about that at least.  My old computer, which served me faithfully for seven long years was driving me to despair, due to being incapable of keeping up with my abilities.  I saw a sale on some parts and decided to bite the bullet, and upgraded.  Technology has moved on a lot in seven years, trust me.  The system has been running for a few weeks now, and i've just been ironing out any bugs, of which there have been mercifully few.  No longer do I face memory lim...

That's what it's shaping up to be, so far.  I had to make a new entry as I couldn't stand seeing the last one there any longer without welling up.  Thanks for all your kindness and concern during what continues to be a difficult time.  Anyway, at the start of this year I read a book, and it really gave me a lot of motivation that I have been lacking these last few years.  As a result I am making the time to work on my personal projects from six to ten hours a day, when other responsibilities don't get in the way.  I have picked up several ailments since the beginning of 2008, but i'm dealing with the ones I can, and learning to cope with t...
